Team Page Headshots in Boston MA
David Shopper is one of Boston, MA’s most trusted Team Page Headshots photographers. He creates portraits and headshots for team bio pages and social media.
LinkedIn is a typical use for David’s team page headshots. This social media has become the go-to spot to create a first impression. Is the person on the phone a professional or an amateur? Do they care about their image (and, by association, will they care about your company’s image?) Do they belong to a branded company where everyone’s on the same page (so to speak)? Your business portrait is important.
Business portraits are expensive for a reason: they’re worth it. Your headshot can do as much for your public persona as your hard-earned business reputation. Make sure that the photographer whom you work with understands the basic truths of business headshots. Business headshots should be approachable, well-lit with natural light, well composed, and sharp. The subject’s eyes must be in focus, and the background should be ephemeral and soft so the subject is the hero.
David has been creating team page headshots for decades. He’s easy to work with. He comes in on-time and on-budget. He shoots without a cumbersome flash setup. Using natural light and a comfortable office setting, David photographs creates confident groups made from empowered individuals.
Team members feel their most comfortable when there’s not too much fuss. No big lighting setup or weird flashes. Just relax and be yourself. This isn’t rocket science, but you actually don’t see a lot of executives looking fully empowered and comfortable in their portraits. It takes a great business portrait photographer. David is the best in Boston.
This selection of team page headshots was taken for Chestnut Hill Realty, a family business of 50 years just outside of Boston. David created dozens of portraits for their new website. All the portraits used natural light. All had the same approachable and honest feel.
Headshots should look like they belong to a branded company. By shooting everyone’s portrait in a similar way, CHR’s website theme of corporate family shone through. All the team page members look like they were cut from the same cloth. They make a cohesive company.
David works with large and small companies. David has shot team page portraits for startup companies that have just a few employees. David has also created portraits for some of the of largest companies in the nation.
Though based in Boston (on Boston’s North Shore actually), David shoots in the New England area and NYC a good deal. He has also travelled country-wide and world-wide for portrait shoots.
To create his professional business portraits, David uses a Nikon D850 SLR camera and a f2.8 70-200 lens. The files this camera takes are massive: 8-bit tiffs are over 130mb large. The lens is incredibly sharp and then goes soft quickly for the background.
David shoots tethered to a MacBook Pro laptop so his team and the client can see the results instantly and large. It’s a great setup.
